1950-1 Spring I was quite adorable.
1950-3 I’m showing Daddy I can play a record – then on that same afternoon IT happened.
1950-4 Holding the kitten and my body still hurts.

1950-5 As my mother moved my legs apart I felt the remaining pain and then a memory.
1952-1 Great Grandma Toosie said, there’s the look and Great Grandpa Freddie went and got his camera to take this picture. It was my 4th birthday
1952-2 Just before he took my picture Great Grandpa Freddie said pay no attention… go back and sit on the bench the way you were.

1952-3 I’m crying sitting on the bench in the sun under the trumpet vine like Great Grandpa Freddie said to do.
1952-4 I’m crying by the cow pasture fence and someone wanted to take my picture.
1952-6 Summer A close up of my face as I am touching The Autumn Swing.

1953 I’m standing swinging out over the swamp reliving the down gravity feeling of my first time on The Autumn Swing in 1950.
1954 This picture shows the face of anger in me and maybe with the thought of a stick as a weapon.
1958 I scratch and bite myself and didn’t know this was me when i first found this picture.

1988 Protected by my mighty cat pictures on the walls of my bedroom. The room where Jesus comforted me.
1994 I was dealing with my anger coming up at the time. In this moment I was leaving a family home in New Jersey I’d learned to love. It was a feeling of desolation and aloneness.
2026 I have come a long way.
